My project work has been very diverse over the years. From web and print design, to multimedia and video right down to coding complex financial applications. I have done a lot of different things and have come to understand the complexities and pitfalls of many mediums.

To explore some of my recent project work, select one of the boxes above and the details will magically appear below.

OBJECTIVE

CATVIDEO, INC. is an high-energy woman-owned video and multimedia production company based in Atlanta, Georgia.

As the winner of multiple prestigious honors such as EMMY, TELLY and ADDY, they wanted a web presence that would capture their brand and industry, but did not a super complex sight that would overwhelm the visitor.

I worked closely with the company's President, to create this site and accurately capture the owners vision on the web.

HOW I DID IT

I used HTML and Flash for the front end design and multimedia. I also converted and implemented the company's demo reel into the site.

This site also implements the iento secure file area for clients files so that the customer can upload large files to share securely with clients.

OBJECTIVE

The Atlanta Bass Gallery is the nations leading bass-only guitar shop. They are located in Atlanta’s Mid-Town neighborhood and advertise nationally in Bass Player magazine.

They needed a website that would allow non-local visitors to view their highly specialized inventory of 200+ guitars and amps.

After the launch of this site, their online sales have grown to over 30% of their total monthly sales and they are able to attract leads from all over the world.

HOW I DID IT

I used HTML and Flash for the front end design and multimedia. I also used PHP and MySql for the dynamic delivery of inventory and a guest photo album feature. This functionality includes an administration interface so that the store owner can updated content.

OBJECTIVE

The law group of Gillett, Natbony & Walker is a new firm specializing in the area of Hedge Fund Law. Primary, they council clients in the areas of compliance, legal and tax implication in starting a hedge fund. As a new company experiencing rapid growth, the company needed someone who could take limited direction and run with it.

One particular area where they needed help was in addressing a large amount of web traffic that had been coming in from a Google promotion they run. Leads were streaming in at an impressive rate, but they were concerned that they were missing many potential clients because they were lacking the mechanism on the site to get the visitors to contact them.

We addressed this issue by creating an eye catching multimedia banner on the home page that would lead visitors to a form where they could sign up for a free web-based seminar about hedge fund formation.

HOW I DID IT

I used HTML and Flash for the front end design and multimedia. This site also implements the iento news updater tool to allow the client to administer news articles that they regularly update on the site.

OBJECTIVE

Infinity Capital Partners is a fast-growing, fast-paced business with many facets. They are a small shop that simultaneously runs a multi-million dollar fund-of-funds business and a successful and revolutionary new investment fund that uses leased hard-assets as a hedge against traditional securities.

With all that going on, it stands to reason that these folks have little time to worry about their website. Unfortunately, thought, most of their client are non-local and even international, so it is critical that they be able to both inform their potential investors and provide services to existing clients.

HOW I DID IT

On this site, I created the site and did a good deal of the photography as well. The image on the right is one that I tool of the historic Biltmore in Atlanta where Infinity is headquartered.

Because of SEC restrictions on Hedge-Fund marketing, I also created a form where person who wanted to learn more about the funds performance and strategy could request a special login id to view that data. All of the requests are auto-email to the head of sales and marketing and stored in a database as well.

OBJECTIVE

Reggie Goodjoin is a really classy guy. He is a professional bass player who is originally from Greenville, South Carolina. He is now based somewhere between Atlanta and Los Angeles and is rapidly making a name for himself as a studio musician.

Because his style is scattered amongst Jazz, Gospel, Latino and R&B, it has been necessary to create a site that would display and capture the style that Reggie personally exudes.

HOW I DID IT

This site uses Flash embedded in HTML to display the navigation items and video.

This site also implements the iento event updater tool to allow Reggie to manage his live show and news items while on the road.

OBJECTIVE

Rule, Joy, Trammell Plus Rubio is an Architectural and Interior Design firm in Atlanta that was founded in early 2005. In celebration of their one year anniversary, they hired me to design a new web site that matches the energy, look and brand that they are building.

This project was a tremendous experience as I had the priveledge of working directly with the firms principals and key marketing employees. It is always a pleasure to work with a client who knows what they want and are willing to take the time to communicate.

HOW I DID IT

This site uses HTML and CSS.

This site also implements the iento event updater tool to allow them to manage news items.
